MLT-PLS-2W is a special-purpose Loudspeaker that allows collective listening of earphone-level voice or call signals, even in a noisy environment. It is intended to complement transceivers with a DC current source in their audio output.
The device comprises an amplifier that increases the source signal up to 2Watt.
During transmission, the output is automatically attenuated.
The desired volume leveled is set by a six (6) position rotary switch.
The Loudspeaker and the amplifier are housed in a rigid plastic box.
The device is supplied with a vehicle mount base, BAS-21, suitable for securing the Loudspeaker in a fixed station or in a moving vehicle.

The product has been sold primarily to the Hellenic Armed Forces
for man-pack, vehicle, ship and boat applications.
