To address the most demanding requirements,Thales Air Defence has developed the ARABEL Fire Control System (FCS), core of the ground-based ‘SAMP/T’ Medium Range Air Defence System, in the framework of the FSAF programme conducted by EUROSAM.
Production
The ARABEL FCS is composed of the ARABEL Multi-function Radar IFF, the power generation module and the Engagement and Command & Control module. Integrated with up to 6 vertical launcher modules, it provides unique operational capabilities against all current and future air breathing threats.
MILTECH HELLAS manufactures a number of the Cable assemblies for the ground-based version of ARABEL as well as electronic control units for the above system.
