MBDA France and MILTECH HELLAS SA Sign Contract for ASTER and EXOCET Launching Unit Cables Manufacturing in Greece
On the 17th of October 2023 MBDA France and MILTECH HELLAS SA signed a contract for the manufacturing of cables for the ASTER and EXOCET launching units. This contract is the next step in the cooperation between the two companies, after the signature of the R&D contract (MBDA – MILTECH – University of Patras) in 2022. This contract is beneficial for both MBDA France, which actively increases its footprint in Greece, in the frame of both Hellenic Industrial Participation plans and the bilateral defense agreement signed by France and Greece in September 2021, and MILTECH which dynamically enters MBDA France’s supply chain, with prospects for expanding / deepening the areas of cooperation in the coming months.
